2008 URBAN SPACES TOUR AT VIDORRA It was a fun-filled evening on Friday, December 5th as the Downtown Alliance’s annual Urban Spaces Tour came to Vidorra! After a tour of the near East side of downtown, including the historic Carver Cultural Center and the adaptive reuse Friedrich Building, nearly 200 guests enjoyed a special sneak preview of Vidorra. Guests toured the lobby and some of the nearly-complete condos before taking the elevator to the 20th floor to see the sensational views from Vidorra’s Sky Room. |
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE The Countdown to Completion has begun! All the condo units are receiving interior finishes, and the first 5 floors will be ready for “punch” walks with the buyers later this month. The corridors are painted and light fixtures are being installed, and the lobby is painted. Cabinet installation in the common areas is scheduled for the end of December, and the mailboxes for the mailroom are expected to arrive any day. On the exterior, over half of the balcony handrails are now installed, and the stucco application is expected to be complete by the end of the month. The breezeway that connects the parking garage to the tower will be poured by the end of the month, and striping and numbering of parking spaces in the garage will start by the end of the month. Look for the stucco and brick on the townhome exterior to be complete by the beginning of January. |
